2003 NCAA Women's Golf Championship Coming to ASC Campus

The NCAA Division III Women's Golf Committee announced that American Southwest Conference member Hardin-Simmons University will host the 2003 National Championship. Fairway Oaks Country Club will be the site of competition on May 13-16, 2003.

The Division III Championship will be a 72-hole meet with 18 holes played each day. Practice rounds are scheduled May 11-12. Sixty players will be invited to the tournament - 10 teams and 10 individuals not on a qualifying team.

The 2003 Women's Golf Championship will be the first NCAA Division III national championship hosted by an American Southwest Conference member institution.
