Concordia-Austin (1-24, 0-15 ASC): The Tornados are off until the weekend conference series at Howard Payne (Apr. 11-12). . . . Vanessa Wilhoite carries a team-best .396 slugging percentage, smacking four doubles and a triple among her 13 hits. Wilhoite's four doubles ties her with Tricia Weathers for the CUA lead.

East Texas Baptist (19-7, 11-1 ASC): The Lady Tigers list at No. 19 in the season's first USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll (Apr. 2). . . . ETBU boasts a pair of .400 hitters in Angela Gonzales and Tonya Minor. Gonzales has 30 RBI while Minor has swiped 20 bases.

Howard Payne (9-19, 6-10 ASC): HPU split last weekend's West Division series at Sul Ross State, winning the middle games in the four-game set. It was the Lady Jackets' second straight ASC weekend split. . . . Alissa Cordes (.443) and Tiffany Wolfe (.405) are atop the HPU hitting stats. Cordes has been the contact hitter with 27 of her 35 hits going as singles while Wolfe has 10 doubles and four home runs among her 30 hits.

LeTourneau (7-17, 3-11 ASC): The LadyJackets are in the midst of a season-long six-game losing skid after dropping four games to nationally-ranked East Texas Baptist and a non-conference pair at the University of Dallas on Saturday (Apr. 5). . . . Stephanie Ray leads LeTourneau with a .339 batting average, 13 RBI and four home runs.

Louisiana College (24-2, 16-2 ASC): The Lady Wildcats had their 11-game win streak snapped on Saturday in a nine-inning 2-1 loss to #19 East Texas Baptist in game one of the East Division doubleheader (Apr. 5). LC came back in the nightcap for a 2-1 victory. . . . Misty Roark laced an RBI single in the fifth inning of Saturday's second game to score the game-winning run vs. ETBU. . . . Pitcher Emillie Collins is undefeated in her 12 decisions.

Mary Hardin-Baylor (15-11, 12-4 ASC): The Lady Crusaders moved into first-place in the ASC West with a four-game sweep of Concordia-Austin last weekend (Apr. 4-5). UMHB has won 12 of its last 14 games and puts its division lead on the line when second-place Texas Lutheran comes to Belton this weekend (Apr. 11-12). . . . Megan Brown went the distance to win both of her appearances against CUA, throwing a two-hitter on Friday and a four-hitter on Saturday. Brown is 5-4 for the year. Sarah Lemons posted the other two UMHB wins.

Mississippi College (18-13, 8-10 ASC): The Lady Choctaws took three of four vs. Ozarks over the weekend to remain in the ASC Tournament race and fourth-place in the East. . . . First baseman Blair Brown batted .538 against Ozarks, including a 3-for-3 performance in the third game of the series. Brown finished the six-game week hitting .471 (8-for-17). . . . Pitcher Katie Waterbury surpassed the 100 strikeout mark with six Ks against Ozarks last Friday (Apr. 4). She has 114 strikeouts for the year.

Ozarks (11-13, 6-10 ASC): The Lady Eagles look to keep their postseason hopes alive when they travel to UT Dallas this weekend for a four-game series (Apr. 11-12). . . . Freshman outfielder Devon Bottoms recorded five hits during last weekend's Mississippi College series. . . . Ozarks stopped a seven-game losing skid with a 6-1 win at MC on Saturday that averted a series sweep by the Lady Choctaws.

Schreiner (12-11, 10-5 ASC): The Mountaineers took three of four games at Texas Lutheran last weekend to knock the Bulldogs out of first-place in the ASC West. Schreiner maintained its third-place position and spot in the race for an ASC Tournament berth. . . . SU has won two (CUA, TLU) and tied one (HPU) of its West Division series after opening the season 2-2 at the conference First Pitch Tournament in early March. . . . SU brings a balanced offense to the field with six players totaling 19 or more hits for the year. All six have two or more extra-base hits with leading hitter Felicia Delgado (.369) recording 12 extra-base hits.

Sul Ross State (5-21, 3-13 ASC): The Lady Lobos split the weekend series vs. Howard Payne (Apr. 4-5) to go 3-5 in its last two ASC West series. . . . Starting pitchers Leandra Ramirez and Maria Balderas each posted wins vs. HPU. . . . SRSU hosts Schreiner in Friday and Saturday doubleheaders (Apr. 11-12).

UT Dallas (8-12, 7-7 ASC): The Comets return to the diamond on Wednesday (Apr. 9) after an open weekend. UTD has a home doubleheader vs. #19 East Texas Baptist to conclude that conference season series, then hosts Ozarks in a four-game set Friday and Saturday (Apr. 11-12). . . . UTD has been off since a 1-3 weekend at Mississippi College March 28-29.

Texas Lutheran (18-10, 11-5 ASC): Pitcher Amanda Stevens posted a 1-0, four-hit shutout in the Bulldogs' series-opener vs. Schreiner on Friday (Apr. 4), her fourth shutout of the season. . . . Conference batting leader Amy Behlen (.470) collected six hits against Schreiner and was 3-for-4 in Saturday's first game. . . . TLU had a season-long nine-game win streak stopped by Schreiner. . . . The Bulldogs are at West leader Mary Hardin-Baylor for a four-game conference set this weekend (Apr. 11-12).
