The American Southwest Conference is represented in the April 8 men's and women's NCAA-III Golfstat Top 10 rankings. The Mary Hardin-Baylor women's team, who is 59-2 vs. the division, ranks No. 2 in the country behind defending national champion Methodist College. On the men's side, UT Dallas remains at eighth for a second straight week. The Comets are 208-8 vs. the division. . . . The McMurry women's team is No. 15. . . . The men's teams from Mary Hardin-Baylor and Hardin-Simmons are each ranked among the Top 20. UMHB is No. 11 for a second week and HSU moves up one spot to No. 16 in the newest listing.

Hardin-Simmons won the men's District IV Invitational (Apr. 7-8) with Nick Atkinson posting an even-par 216 (72-69-75) to win individual medalist honors. The Cowboys combined for a 905 (292-303-310) in the two-day NCAA-Division III event, bettering second-place Trinity by four strokes. . . . UT Dallas placed fifth, McMurry seventh, and host Mary Hardin-Baylor ninth to give the ASC four Top 10 teams.
