ASC Golfers Claim National Academic Honors

Eleven golfers from four ASC teams have earned places on their respective coaching associations’ academic honor lists for the 2004 season.

National Golf Coaches AssociationThe National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) recognized nine ASC women’s golfers. The honorees each carry a minimum 3.40 grade-point average and have competed in at least 66 percent of their team’s competitive rounds in 2003-04.

Golf Coaches Association of AmericaThe Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) recognized two ASC men’s golfers. The two senior award winners carry a minimum 3.0 grade-point average and maintained a stroke average under 79.0 while participating in 70 percent of the team’s competitive rounds in 2003-04.
