On Saturday, HSU scored three runs in the first inning and coasted into the title game with a 9-2 win vs. Louisiana College in the winner's bracket game. Top-5 ranked LC advanced to the finals with a 5-3 win over Mississippi College in the semifinals, and must beat the Cowgirls twice to repeat as ASC Champion.

Mary Hardin-Baylor and Howard Payne were eliminated in Saturday's first set of games. UMHB fell 5-0 to East Texas Baptist while Mississippi College beat HPU 3-2 in 8 innings. ETBU ended its tournament run with a 6-0 loss to Mississippi College.
